Beef and MushroomMonday, May 25, 2009

This is one of my favorite dishes ever. And i am not following any recipe this time. I am doing it my way. (With the help of mom's teaching..lol)

1 kgs. Beef Strips (Sirloin)
-marinated in soy sauce and pepper
1 can young corn
1 can Mushroom sliced
1 onion -chopped
3 cloves garlic - minced
butter
olive oil
3 T oyster sauce
1 broccoli
1 pack or can cream of mushroom
1 cup water
salt
pepper

Instructions:
1. Heat pan in low heat. Put the butter and olive oil. Saute onion and garlic. Put the beef then cover.
2. When the beef is already brown. Put salt, pepper and oyster sauce. Cover for another 1 minute.
3. Pour the cream of mushroom and water. If using canned Cream of Mushroom you can pour it together with the water in the pan. If using the powdered one, you must first dissolve it in the water.
4. Cover the lid for about 2 minutes.
5. Put the Mushroom, Young corn and Broccoli.
6. Let it simmer for about 3 minutes.

*Important Reminder:
Cream of Mushroom may cause your dish a bit salty. Just add a bit of water from time to time until you get your desired tast
